IMPORTANT DATES

– Sept. 19 & 21     Camp Pauoa Sign Up in the Library from 2:30-5:30

– Oct. 1             End of Quarter 1

– Oct. 8-12        Fall Break

 

CAMP PAUOA SIGN UP THIS WEEK – Camp site selection will be on a first come first serve basis.  A table will be set up outside the library on both Wednesday, 9/19 and Friday, 9/21 from after school until 5:30. Camp payment (cash only) will be due when you choose your camp site.

Thank you to the Friends of Pauoa Parent Group for organizing this wonderful event! Funds generated from Camp Pauoa will be used for student activities and incentives.

 

DONATION DROP OFF – Please drop off donations for Camp Pauoa to the office by Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Those who signed up to donate pizza may opt to have the school make the order and pick up the pizza. Just drop off money for the pizza at the office. Parents who plan to bring pizza to the camp should do so by 5:00 pm on the day of camp, 9/28.

A few items are still needed:  Pepperoni pizza and hot dog buns. You may use the Sign Up Genius link: PAUOA DONATIONS or call Candace Aimoto at 587-4500 to make a donation.

FEDERAL SURVEY CARDS – This is a reminder to turn in a completed Federal Survey if you have not already done so. We are striving for a 100% return of the surveys so that our school can maximize its federal funding.  Congratulations to Gr. 2 for being the first grade level to submit all of their Federal Survey Cards.  Good job!

 

FREE AND REDUCED PRICE SCHOOL MEALS – The National School Lunch program is a federally-assisted program based on family income eligibility which provides free or reduced price student meals.  Parents of students who had meal benefits last school year must reapply for the current school year now or your child will no longer be eligible for this service.

Parents/guardians may submit applications online at ezmealapp.com
and enter “Hawaii” to search for school district. The deadline for
online applications is Sept 18.

 

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES – Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 thru November 9, 2018.  Conference request forms are due to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
